Bogdan Aurescu: 2022 was the most difficult year of Romanian diplomacy after 1989

"2022 was the most difficult year of Romanian diplomacy after 1989, being marked, at regional and global level, by the war launched by the Russian Federation against Ukraine", declared the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, in the opening of the Action Milestones Report of Romania.
"Peace on the European continent, where citizens have not experienced such situations since the Second World War, was shaken, and Romanian diplomacy quickly adapted to the new reality", added the minister.
Regarding the milestones for next year, the report mentions that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to give priority attention to the continuation of intensive efforts to support Romania's accession to the Schengen area and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
