"Almost 40% of students over the age of 12 are vaccinated against Covid"

Almost 40% of students in the 12-15 and over 16 years old categories are vaccinated against COVID-19 - said the Minister of Education, Sorin Cimpeanu.
In terms of school staff, 70% of teachers are immunized.
Starting today, all students take classes in schools, and the second semester begins in a week without an inter-semester vacation.
The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, recently declared that educational units will not be closed, if there will be many cases of COVID-19 but with few hospitalizations. However, it can be a temporary measure in case the hospitals get blocked.
Alexandru Rafila criticized the decision to close the schools, when there were hundreds of infections a day, considering it unjustified and even irresponsible.
