Airbus and IAR sign 15 year Collaboration Agreement for H215M helicopter

Airbus and IAR Ghimbav (Brașov County), have signed a 15-year Collaboration Agreement for the production of the H215M helicopter in Romania.

According to the Agreement, IAR is the exclusive partner of Airbus for the manufacture of flight equipment and main contractor in Romania for this type of multi-role helicopter, with state-of-the-art capabilities.

It is the ideal helicopter for utility missions in extreme environments and on the battlefield, but also the most suitable solution to be purchased by the Defense Ministry, manufacturers say.
