Recruitment agencies from Germany and Great Britain seek for nurses and Romanian specialists. The College of Physicians says that in the last five years more than 11,000 doctors have emigrated.
A special edition of the fair job in the medical field is carried out in the capital.
There are two recruitment agencies from Germany and UK.
Pandrea Constantin, one of the organizers, told to Radio Romania News editor, Iulian Olescu, that the event is for nurses, but there are positions also for practitioners.
"Surgeons, orthopedists, many nurses - for Germany I understand it is a shortage of nurses, and that's why this special edition was organized.
"They can leave their resumes, they can talk directly with the recruiter in question and can establish different stages that they will go through by each person.
"They can attend language courses for both Germany and UK," said Constantin Pandrea.
"Worrying trend" on the exodus of doctors
The President of the College of Physicians of Romania, Vasile Astărăstoae, said Wednesday that 11,200 doctors have left Romania in the last five years.
He said that the exodus of Romanian doctors took a "worrying trend".
Vasile Astărăstoae stated, in a press conference, that during 2007-2012, 8,600 specialists were trained while, at the same time, 11,200 physicians left Romania.
He said that Romania spent about three billion lei for the formation of these doctors.
Vasile Astărăstoae also said that in some hospitals there is not a single specialist in a particular field.
