A Romanian citizen died following the railway accident in Greece

The Greek authorities notified the Consulate General of Romania in Thessaloniki that a Romanian citizen was identified among the 57 people who died following the railway accident on the night of February 28, according to a press release from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The consular office urgently informed the family, with whom it was already in direct contact, as a result of reporting the disappearance of the person in question.
The repatriation of the body will be carried out after the Greek authorities have completed all the specific procedures taken in such situations.
