Calea Victoriei in Bucharest is open to pedestrians this weekend also and hosts events for both children and adults.
The Sandarica Theater organizes puppet shows, the Mask Theater brings living statues to the streets again, and the artists of the Metropolitan Circus will present acrobatic numbers.
The evolution of the generations in the last 300 years in the urban environment with Bucharest as a case study is presented for the first time this weekend, explained Mihai Motei from the Museum of Ages.
Mihai Motei: We enter the main exhibition, we arrive in the 18th century, where we invite you to see a wedding dress sewn in gold thread, some books that circulated in our country, one in Greek and one with Cyrillic letters. Then we reach the 19th century. An interesting object is the prom card. We have maps and faces of people from the period of the respective maps, maps of Romania and Bucharest. We have the Belle Epoque period and the interwar period.
