900 million euros from NRRP for the development of towns

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Local authorities submitted projects worth over 900 million euros, immediately after the launch of the "Local Fund" component of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, through which the Ministry of Development finances local projects and environmentally friendly infrastructure.
This money is about a third of the total allocation which amounts to 2.73 billion euros.
The call for projects for the "Local Fund" started yesterday morning at 10:00, and the number of submitted projects and the remaining budget can be consulted, in real time, on the website of the ministry, states the Minister of Development, Cseke Attila.
The "Local Fund" component of the NRRP provides funding for the construction of over 5.500 energy-efficient homes for young people, as well as for health and education specialists, the renewal of public transport vehicles with 1.135 clean vehicles, for which 13.200 recharging spots will be installed, as well as the construction of bike lanes with a total length of almost 1.100 km.
