2011 spring forecast "within average limits"
According to the National Meteorological Administration, across the Romanian territory, temperature and precipitation recordings will be close to the multi-annual monthly climate means, for the next three months.

According to the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts the National Meteorological Administration reveals that, this spring, the expected temperature and precipitation recordings will fall within normal limits compared with the multi-annual monthly means.
According to the document, across most of Romanian territory, temperature values will be close to the multi-annual monthly means.
In March, in some north-western areas of the country will be colder than it has been expected for this month while in some south-eastern areas will be recorded even higher temperature values than the multi-annual monthly means.
The National Meteorological Administration’s press release reveals that the European Center’s forecast "does not rule out the possibility of certain situations characterized by extreme temperatures or high precipitation totals recorded over short intervals", which can turn an event into a "harsh" one.
Seasonal weather forecast has been generally developed for one or three months with an indicative nature and a sixty or sixty five percent degree of achievement.
