Work from home is preferred by most job seekers

The employer's flexibility remains a decisive criteria when it comes to changing jobs.
6 out of 10 candidates would not accept a job in a company that does not allow work from home or in a hybrid system, say representatives of an online recruitment platform.
In 2022, employees returned to office work, after 2 years in which the remote working style was the rule rather than the exception.
In 2023 it seems like this trend will continue, labor market representatives claim.
The research shows that at the moment 46% of employees work exclusively at the company headquarters, almost 20% entirely from home, and the rest divide their time between home and office.
Some employees have a hybrid program, on a structure decided by the company. Others have to come to the office, but have the freedom to decide for themselves how many days they work from home and how many at the office.
According to the research, almost 24% of respondents want to work exclusively from home, while 20% would like to increase the number of days they work remotely.
Moreover, the flexibility of the employer has also turned into a criterion that candidates take into account from the perspective of a new employment.
Acute feelings of alienation and lack of socialization with colleagues are two of the reasons why employees prefer a hybrid activity, according to the research.
The survey was conducted this month on a sample of 4.300 respondents.
