There are winter driving conditions on most of the roads in Romania, especially in the northern part of the country, the mountain areas and the road to Constanța, at the Black Sea.
Intervention teams are throwing sanding materials on the roads, so there are regions where traffic is slower.
To avoid accidents, drivers are advised not to go on the road without the cars being properly equipped for winter time. Drivers are advised to use winter tyres and snow-chains, to drive cautiously and to adapt speed to traffic and road conditions, and when in the column to avoid overtaking.
