Tonight, all cultural institutions across Romania open their doors - it's the White Night of the Museums.

Exhibitions, concerts and film screenings are just some of the events that can be attended by those interested in visiting museums.

Hundreds of museums across the country will be open tonight - there will be workshops and entrepreneurial courses, entire neighborhoods that will host cultural events until midnight, as well as art galleries that can be created by visitors themselves.

There's also a mobile app - it's called "Night of the Galleries" - and can be downloaded for free from Google Play or the App Store.

In Bucharest, Bellu Museum is one of the most interesting sites - guided tours, theater plays and an instrumental music programs.

„Grigore Antipa” announced a series of activities including temporary exhibitions, as well as film screenings, night insect collection and bats interception in the museum yard.

For Bucharest residents, RATB offers several public transport lines with an extended schedule between 19:00 and 04:00.

In Bihor, for the first time, the Roman Catholic Diocese introduced in the visiting circuit, besides the Roman Catholic Cathedral, also the cellars of the Episcopal Palace, which entered the restoration with the Baroque Palace.

In Sibiu, visitors of Romania's largest open-air museum, Dumbrava Sibiu, have free access not only to exhibitions, but also to the concert held by Domino and Vama music bands.

Museum of Natural History and Archeology Constanţa has prepared artistic moments of historical reconstruction and choreography. Another museum that opens its doors is that of the Romanian Navy.

White Night of the Museums takes place tonight not only in Romania, but also throughout Europe. Thousands of institutions across the continent open their doors to visitors until late at night.
