What Crin Antonescu criticizes coalition leaders for

None of the ruling coalition leaders or any other member of the coalition parties has had any reaction so far to last night's statement by former PNL president Crin Antonescu, in which he announced that he unilaterally considers the agreement on his candidacy for the Romanian presidency suspended.
"I'm not backing out, I'm not withdrawing this candidacy", Crin Antonescu immediately added in an interview with Digi 24.
Crin Antonescu is dissatisfied with the indecision of the parties in the ruling coalition and the lack of a clear date for the presidential elections, which prompted him last night to publicly declare that, from his point of view, the proposal of these parties is suspended, although he has assumed all the difficulties involved in such an endeavor.
Moreover, Crin Antonescu believes that when the proposal was made to him, the four political leaders were not sufficiently empowered and that, until they really decide, the agreement remains suspended.
While so far the leaders of the four political parties in the ruling coalition have not reacted publicly on the issue, the leader of USR MPs, Ionut Mosteanu, reacted on his Facebook page, saying that Crin Antonescu's announcement is yet another episode in the battle within the system.
The general mayor of the capital, Nicusor Dan, also believes that Crin Antonescu's reaction is unreasonable, as his candidacy could not be validated from Christmas until New Year's Eve.
