RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca urged businessmen in the United States to continue investing in Romania.

He even asked them to inform the Government about their future investments. Romania is a safe destination for business, the prime minister assured at a meeting with American businessmen.

Petruta Orejan transmits: "-" We invest together, we build together " was the message that Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca transmitted today to American businessmen, claiming that the economic and security wings of the Strategic Partnership between Romania and the United States represent a solid foundation for combating current challenges. Nicolae Ciuca explained that Romania is a safe business destination, competitive and modernized, and the executive aims to accelerate structural reforms and efficient investments of national and European funds.

Nicolae Ciuca: “It was a very good opportunity for us to convey the vision and the amount of effort at government level, in order to obtain the maximum benefits for the Romanian citizens in everything that represents the consolidation of the Strategic Partnership with the United States, and also to establish the lines by which we can strengthen the confidence of American investors in the Romanian business environment."

The energy crisis is also in the attention of the executive, the prime minister added, arguing that the measures taken at government level aim at protecting both the citizens and the normal functioning of the economic sectors.

Nicolae Ciuca: “At the heart of the government's concerns are the citizen and the maintenance of economic activities. We need to keep our jobs, we need all the small and medium enterprises and even the big enterprises to function. For all this, we need a solution that is understood and accepted by the government as well as by suppliers, distributors, manufacturers and, of course, the business community."
