Warning strike at TVR

A warning strike organized by the MediaSind federation took place on Wednesday at the Romanian Television Company, without interrupting broadcasting.

Employees are complaining about the chronic under-funding of the media industry, which jeopardizes freedom of expression.

Employees from the head office in Bucharest and territorial studios in Iasi, Targu Mures, Craiova, Cluj and Timisoara protested.
