Vlad Crişan Pop (Cluj) won on Sunday, March 10, the 193-kilometer race (short race) of Ultra Arctic 6633 - world's toughest marathon.
Competitors faced temperatures that can drop at -39 degrees at night.
Since 2016, Vlad Crişan Pop has been a volunteer coordinator at the MagiCAMP Association, that takes care of children with oncological diseases, serious burns or who have lost someone they loved. With the money raised from donations, Pop aims to ensure 100 scholarships for education of children with oncological diseases.
