Vice ANRE, detained for 24 hours
Vice President of the National Agency for Energy Regulation is accused that has requested the change of a report carried out at the company Berg Sistem Gaz from Sighetul Marmaţiei to eliminate irregularities discovered in the field.

Vice President of the National Agency for Energy Regulation, Eugen Georgescu , was detained for 24 hours, Wednesday evening, the Radio România Actualităţi editor, Diana Surdu, informed us.
According to General Prosecution Office, between 2007-2009, Eugen Georgescu, as general manager of ANRE, namely head of Control and Consumer Protection Department asked a subordinate to modify the inspection report from Berg Sistem Gaz company from Sighetul Marmaţiei.
Thus, irregularities were removed from society which should have left out of licenses and authorizations.
According to a press release, inadequate performance of duties by Eugen Georgescu allowed the further activity of the BergGas System company, although the company does not have the minimum operating conditions, resulting in two explosions in February 2012, after which it one person died and 20 were injured and 12 are still hospitalized.
Previously, in the same case have been indicted two other people.
They are charged with third degree murder, bodily injury, destruction from negligence with extremely serious consequences and false documents under private signature.
This is about a project supervisor between 2005-2010 and a responsible with construction works from Berg Sistem Gaz company.
In mid-February, 17 people were injured in two explosions occurred at a disco in
Sighetul Marmaţiei.
The first blast took place on the night of February 18, due to accumulation of gas from an upper floor of the building to the ground floor where was the disco.
The explosion occurred when a group of girls who were in the disco toilet and lit up their cigarettes.
A second blast occurred a few hours later, when a team that carried out investigations in a room adjoining that in which investigations were initiated after the first explosion.
Ten people were surprised by the new blast, considering three officers, two firefighters, four civilians and a notary.
