Vaccination with the third dose begins

The prime minister has announced that Vaccination with the third dose will start.
The third dose will be administered at least 6 months after the second one.
Only mRNA-based vaccine will be used.
Florin Citu: A meeting of the National Committee for Vaccination took place yesterday, which was attended by the members of the committee together with representatives of the institutions involved in the national vaccination campaign against COVID - the Ministry of Health, the National Medicines Agency and the National Institute of Public Health - and we made the decision that from September 28, all people that have been vaccinated with the second dose at least six months ago - with any of the Pfizer / BioNtech, Moderna / Oxford, AstraZeneca vaccines - are eligible to get the third one. The booster dose will only be given with messenger RNA-based vaccines, regardless of the initial scheme.
