The interim Minister of Health, Cseke Attila, signed the joint order of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism on the conditions for registration in the vaccination lottery and the establishment of the attributions of the institutions involved.

The vaccination lottery consists of drawing cash prizes for all vaccinated people with a complete vaccination scheme who have generated their European Union digital certificate on COVID-19, based on their ID number, and who register to participate in the draw on the certificat-covid.gov.ro website.

The vaccination lottery will take place between October 1 and December 31 and consists of 19 draws organized on Sundays or Fridays, in a period of 14 weeks. It awards a total of 1.139 prizes, totaling 15.000.000 lei. The highest value that can be won from a prize is 1.000.000 lei.

The prize fund for the vaccination lottery will be provided by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism.
