USR launched its candidates for next year's European Parliament elections. The president of the formation, Catalin Drula, said that USR comes before the people with a plan to modernize Romania and with the best candidates, professionals in all fields.

"Every day, our colleagues contribute to the change of Romania, whether they do so from a town hall, from a local council, from our Parliament or from the European Parliament. This is the commitment we made in the face of the voters: that we will work to change Romania and transform it into a modern country, where honest work is fairly rewarded, where the state is at the service of the people and not of the politicians, and where young people have a better future than their parents had", said Catalin Drula.

The USR candidates were presented during the ALDE Europe Council, held in Bucharest. The list of candidates for the European Parliament is opened by Elena Lasconi.
