USL won "the most municipalities and country councils"
The Social Liberal Union (USL) won 52.02% of the votes for the county councils' presidents, while the Liberal Democratic Party (PDL) won 12.78% and Dan Diaconescu People's Party (PP-DD) 7.40%.

The Social Liberal Union (USL) received 52.02percent of the votes for county councils' presidents, while Liberal Democratic Party (PDL) obtained 12.78percent, shows the first partial result from BEC.
On the third place is the People's Party - Dan Diaconescu, with 7.40percent of the votes has announced Central Electoral Commission spokesman Marian Muhulet.
Until Monday morning at 8:30, BEC announced that the votes were centralized from 1996 of the 16,910 polling stations opened.
Partial results show that the County Councils presidents of the Social Liberal Union (USL) received 461,760 votes (52.02%), Liberal Democratic Party (PDL) won 113,441 votes (12.78%), People’s Party - Dan Diaconescu (PP-DD) won 65,746 (7,40%), Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) received 64,130 votes (7.22%).
The Big Romania Party (PRM) is on the eighth place with 13,850 votes (1.56percent) and The National Union for Romania's Progress (UNPR) is on the following position, with 1.15percent of the votes.
Regarding Local Councils, USL leads with 42.70percent, PDL follows with 15.78percent and the PSD is classed on the third place with 7.67percent.
At the mayors voting, USL leads with 53.27percent, PDL has 15.80percent and PSD has 9.93percent, according to the partial results announced by the BEC.
BEC said that the next report will be made at 14 o’ clock.
PDL runs out of mayors in the capital city
The independent candidate for general mayor Sorin Oprescu obtained 56.19percent of the votes cast in local elections on Sunday, after the BEM centralization of 64 polling stations of all the existing 1223 in Bucharest.
The Office spokesman from the Municipal Election, Ruxandra Ionescu said that following this centralization, the second is Silviu Prigoană, PDL candidate, who obtained 15.96percent, followed by the independent candidate Dan Nicușor with 9.34percent.
Regarding the General Council of Bucharest, partial results show so far, that most municipal councillor seats were obtained by USL with 61.52percent, followed by PDL - 17.77percent and PP-DD - 9.66%.
The Mayoralties of the third sector and the 6th were won by Robert Negoiță and Rareș Mănescu, with 57.51percent and respectively 50.16percent and Andrei Chiliman, Neculai Ontanu, Cristian Popescu Piedone and Marian Vanghelie have obtained new seats in first, second, 4th and 5th sectors, according to the partial results announced by the BEM. At sector 1, the current mayor, the liberal Andrei Chiliman was voted by 73.97percent of the voters, followed by Theodor Paleologu (PDL), with 14.43percent of votes.
In the second sector, the current mayor Neculai Onțanu from The National Union for Romania's Progress (UNPR) won the most votes, being elected by 47.89percent of voters who were to vote. The second in the preferences of voters is Dragoș Frumosu (USL), with 28.74percent of votes.
Robert Negoiță (PSD) won the most votes in the third sector - 56.46percent, followed by the current mayor in office, Liviu Negoiță (PDL), with 29.07% of votes. In the 4th sector, the current mayor Cristian Popescu Piedone (by USL) was voted by 80.58percent of the voters, compared to 8.15percent obtained by Sulfina Barbu (PDL).
At the 5th Sector Town Hall, Marian Vanghelie won another term as mayor, being voted by 54.94percent of the voters, followed by Mihai Atanasoaei (PDL), with 11.19percent. Bucharest residents in the 6th sector gave the most votes to Rareș Manescu, which was chosen by 49.95percent of the voters. His main rival, Cristian Poteraş (PDL), won 20.37percent of the votes.
The data were presented by the Municipal Electoral Commission (BEM) after the reports centralization validated until 10.45 o'clock. According to BEC, the turnout in Bucharest on Sunday's elections was 44.26percent.

The final results of Sunday's poll, released Monday morning by the the Municipal Electoral Office (BEM) Bistrita, which counted the votes in all 56 polling stations in the city, Ovidiu Crețu (USL) was voted by 47.83percent of the voters.
On the second place was situated the PDL candidate, Vasile Moldovan, who was voted by 29.38percent of the voters, and the third was the PPDD candidate, Lucian Adrian Ungur, voted by 13.17percent of electors.
USL Mayoralty candidate in Calarași, Daniel Stephen Drăgulin, won the election with over 70percent of the votes, defeating the current mayor Nicolae Dragu (UNPR), who ran for the fourth term, shows results of the parallel count conducted by USL.
Also, the parallel count conducted by USL shows that leadership of Călărași County Council remain in office with the USL candidate George Filipescu Răducu, at the third term at the head of Călărași County.
The PDL leader Vasile Blaga said Monday morning, that after a parallel vote count made by the PDL, Emil Boc has about 1,000 votes ahead of his counter USL for Cluj-Napoca Mayoralty, Marius Nicoară.
The PDL Cluj and USL Cluj leaders refuse to give, so far, declarations, all saying only that they have not succeeded on Monday morning to complete a parallel vote count.
USL Cluj representatives contested the vote count in several sections in Cluj-Napoca, for securing the votes, so that the parallel counts are delayed.
USL Mayoralty candidate in Craiova, Olguţa Lia Vasilescu, won the elections with 46.24percent of votes, while the the current mayor, Antonie Solomon, won 39.88 percent of votes, according to the the parallel count conducted by PDL.
Craiova was conducted in the last eight years by Antonie Solomon, went from the PDL to PSD reaching UNPR. In 2004 he was elected from the PSD, at 2008 local elections has candidate on behalf of PDL and obtained a second term, being elected the first round, and now ran from UNPR.
USL won in Gorj a total of 55 of the 70 municipalities of the county, among them are the two cities - Targu Jiu and Motru - and the main cities, according to the parallel count conducted by representatives of political alliance, according to Mediafax.
The parallel count conducted by USL also shows that the PSD mayor Florin Cârciumaru from Târgu Jiu was reelected for a fourth term with 72percent of the votes, while Liberal Social Union obtained 16 seats out of the 21 existing in the City Council.
The same source points within indicates the USL County Council President, Ion Călinoiu, winner of elections in Gorj with about 60percent of the votes count, in this case the parallel not being centralized.
According to the parallel count of USL Hunedoara, the Union won the County and the City Council Deva.
Therefore, the PC President Hunedoara, Petru Marginean, who ran from the USL, won Mayoralty Deva with about 52percent of the vote, defeating his main rival Dorin Gligor (USP, consisting of PDL, UNPR and PNTCD), which received about 23percent of the votes.
According to the parallel count, the current President of Hunedoara County Council, Ioan Mircea Molot (USL), won the third term, defeating in the election of 10 June Deva's Mayor Mircea Munteanu, who ran for the leadership CJ from USP.
USL candidate for president of the Sibiu County Council, Ioan Cindrea said Monday that, according to the parlalele count made by the Union he won the election, with a difference of about 15,000 votes against his main rival Martin Bottesch (FDGR), the current head of the institution.

USL obtained leadership of Timis County Council, by the candidate Titu Bojin who was voted by 48.24percent of voters, while its main rival, Constantine Ostaficiuc (PDL), received almost 28percent of the vote, according to the results partially provided by BEJ.
In Timis County Council, USL obtained, according to partial results, 47.5percent, PDL 26.28percent, PP-DD - 9.3percent, UPT - 5.99percent and UDMR - 3, 42percent.
Incidents reported in country at the elections from Sunday In four places in the country the election is suspended. In Constanta, the Valul lui Traian, and Sascut in Bacau County, PSD contest Sunday's voting, and complaints are now in the analysis of BEC.
Appeals have been made also at the 5th sector of Bucharest, by UNPR, and in the village Ștefăneștii de Jos by the Conservative Party.
Overall, however, according to representatives of the Ministry of Interior, compared with other years, yesterday's local elections were marked by few incidents.
Over 1,200 incidents were notified at Sunday election, of which 38percent were confirmed, said MAI spokesman Marius Militaru, according to RRA correspondent, Daniela Manuta.
There were also made over 260 criminal files in which they are investigated 320 people and six of them are already retained.
"The most cases were recorded in the counties Dâmboviţa - 102, Dolj - 14 Constanţa - 13 and in Bucharest - 27.
"At local elections in 2008 were registered a national 968 number of offenses under the special law, that making a comparison with the 61 offenses thayt were recorded during yesterday, so the number is greatly increased after elections in 2008.
"Also, 1332 offenses were recorded compared to the 150 that were found during yesterday," said Marius Militaru.
Election incidents were notified in both rural and urban areas.
According to MAI were detected 14 cases of multiple voting and 21 cases without right to vote.
The most notifications about giving or receiving money were registered in villages.
