Ambassador Hans Klemm:This investment is not just in a building, it is for the Alma Vii community. Out of all the projects from all the US Embassies, project of Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation has received the largest funding.
Attending the event in the village of Alma Vii, Romanian Culture Minister Daniel Breaz announced that the Ministry will finance feasibility studies for the restoration of 10 fortified churches in Transylvania. Romania has the capacity to restore many of the patrimony buildings, but their owners rarely submit the needed projects to get financing, Minister Breaz said.
