United States Department of State congratulates Romania on the occasion of its National Day, on December 1st.
In his message on this occasion, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says he is grateful for the 20 years of Strategic Partnership with Romania and congratulates the Romanians, on behalf of the Washington Government, for the 99th anniversary of the creation of the Romanian modern state.
Rex Tillerson also congratulates Romania for fulfilling its obligations within NATO and for its continued participation in the international effort to bring peace and stability to Afghanistan and Iraq. The United States recognizes Romania as a dedicated ally, committed to regional and global security.
