United States Independence Day, celebrated today in Bucharest

The United States Embassy in Bucharest will fulfill President Donald Trump's commitment to further strengthen the Strategic Partnership with Romania, Ambassador Hans Klemm said today at the July 4th Independence Day Reception.
The US Ambassador also announced the arrival of the largest-ever U.S. government-led trade mission to Romania, scheduled for 18-20 October 2017 in Bucharest (Trade Winds).
The United States is the guarantor of security for Romania, President Klaus Iohannis said, in turn. After the recent meeting with President Trump, the relationship between the two countries is stronger than ever, the Head of State said.
Prime Minister Mihai Tudose also delivered a message on the occasion of the United States Independence Day, where he stressed that Romania would remain a friend and ally of the United States, and that the Government will take action to increase bilateral co-operation in all dimensions of the Strategic Partnership.
