Trade Unionists from the Romanian post have assaulted, on Friday morning, the registered institution and announce similar actions in other cities if their situation is not going to solve.
The main opportunity of the employees is related to the fact that they are faced with measures which will lead the drastic fall of the incomes of the employees by up to 50 per cent or even reductions in force, according to General-Secretary of the Postal Workers Union in Romania, Cristian Iancu.
Cristian Iancu said that in the past four years, at the head of the Romanian Post have succeeded four leaderships that have made three reorganizations, and now it began the fourth.
All these have caused chaos in postal network and brought annually constant loss of income.
“The today protest of Postal Workers Union from Romania is the debut of the protest against the measures announced by the company's national management of the Romanian Post, respectively the protest against the violations in the last two months of the provisions of the collective labour contract in the business.
They involve non-payment of overtime. The question arises, including dismissals by which they want the recovery by reducing the costs such as salary, but not being able to propose increases revenue,” Cristian Iancu said.
The leadership post, said recently, that reductions in force will address only the management positions, not the execution.
This year there have been the lowest monthly income of the company in the last four years.
On Friday, the head of the Romanian Post refused to talk with journalists.
