Ungureanu’s cabinet has received the vote for investiture
Ungureanu’s government has received 237 votes for and 2 against on the part of the senators and deputies, convened in plenum.

The designated Prime Minister Mihai-Răzvan Ungureanu and the members of his party cabinet received the vote for investiture on the part of the senators and deputies in the plenum of the legislative.
Ungureanu’s government received on the part of the senators and deputies convened in plenum 237 votes for and 2 against. The vote was a secret one, with balls.
The 237 votes were enough. The necessary minimum to pass was of 232.
The meeting’s chairman, Vasile Blaga, announced that the official report with the result of the vote was sent to the Official Gazette.
The decision of the parliament, signed by the two chairmen of the two Chambers, will be given immediately, according to the governing rules, to the Romania’s President for proceeding to the naming of the government.
The oath ceremony on investiture of Mihai-Răzvan Ungureanu’s party cabinet will take place on Thursday, at 18:00 o’clock, at Cotroceni Palace.
The designated Prime Minister, Mihai-Răzvan Ungureanu, asked to the parliament the investiture vote for the new government, however, pointing out that he cannot pledge unrealistic promises and he can take into account only a “prudent” increase of the wages and pensions, if the economical situation allows this.
He shows he is going to concentrate on the economical stability assurance and the observance of the commitments that Romania assumed along the International Monetary Fund, European Commission and The World Bank.
“I propose a pragmatic, honest and modern way of governing, in which each citizen can find himself. I do not come in difficult times to give unrealistic promises”, said Ungureanu.
Included measures in the governing program of Ungureanu’s party cabinet
A national plan for jobs, the charge of the huge fortunes and measures for the transparent financing of the parties and the electoral campaigns enumerate among the objectives of the governing program.
In the governing project of Ungureanu’s party cabinet it is spoken of an eventual increase of the salaries in the budgetary domain and pensions, simultaneously with the reduction of costs in the public administration and it is provided also the unlock of the jobs in the health system.
It is taken into account also the diminution of the administrative and fiscal weight for the business environment and the facilitation of the Small and Medium Enterprises access for financing.
According to the provisions in the chapter “Agriculture and Rural Development”, Romania proposes to draw until October, 2012 approximately 43% from the European funds placed at its disposal.
The designated Prime Minister said that he would observe the assumed commitments with International Monetary Fund, The World Bank and European Union.
As fiscal budgetary political elements, Mihai Răzvan Ungureanu declared that he makes allowance for the maintenance of the budgetary deficit no more than 3% from the Gross Domestic Product in 2012, the adoption of a responsible salary politics in the public system, the gradual replacement of the budgetary subventions given to the agricultural system, with EU funds and the introduction of a new EU regulation, which permits the temporal reduction with ten points percentage of the share of funding.
He also proposes the assurance of a four percentages level standard from Gross Domestic Product in 2012 from the capital expenses, corresponding to the investment of EU fund, inclusively external loans.
The designated Prime Minister mentioned the care of the government for the prudent increase of the salaries from the public domain and pensions, provided that the economical conditions allow this.
The government has the stimulation of the economical growth and creation of new jobs in view, through the impulsion of the investment, among other things, by the absorption of the European funds.
An important aspect, especially for the minorities, refers to the creation of the legal arrangement regarding the extension of using the mother tongue in relations with the decentralized public services.
On external plan, Ungureanu’s government proposes the consolidation of the Romanian profile in NATO and in the European Union and the maintenance of the engagement in the fight against terrorism, through the carrying on of the participation to the operations in Afghanistan.
15 projects presented to the Prime Minister in the name of LSU by Victor Ponta
The president SDP, Victor Ponta, said in front of the reunited plenum of the Parliament that LSU continues to sustain the anticipated elections and the President’s resignation, as a solution for the actual, political and economical crisis.
Victor Ponta, LSU co-president, presented from the Parliament rostrum , 15 points-project in which the new government will have the supporting of the opposition if they are promoted.
In front of the reunited plenum, the SDP leader congratulated the fact that the designated Prime Minister did not accept in the government former ministers but he reminded the fact that he did not bring the change to an end in the case of NUPR and DUHR ministers . However, he said to the new Prime Minister “Do not continue Boc’s politics”.
“I want also to say, Mr. designated Prime Minister, that I am glad for you that you did not accept former ministers in the government, who represented not only for us, for the opposition, but also for the Romanian society, names and persons in all respects undesirable. I regret, Mr. designated Prime Minister, that you did not succeed to end this change also in the case of NUPR and DUHR ministers”, said Victor Ponta.
The LSU co-president declared that “there are already weak points in the new government, I do not want to nominate, it is not my aim today of discussing polemics with the members of the party cabinet, you have already a minister who has accessed funds from the ministry he is in charge eventually from today, you have already a minister to whom INA noticed the prosecuting magistracy.”
The government will have the whole collaboration of the opposition regarding the European projects of Romania, the Schengen entry , told the LSU President.
“You will have the political support , at European level, towards the reluctant people manifested by our partners or by some countries from European Union, the Co-operation and Examination Mechanism. We want the removal of the Co-operation and Examination Mechanism”, he added.
Another project proposed by the LSU co-president and in which the opposition offers its support is the one of depoliticize of the decentralized structures in the territory.
Victor Ponta also said he is going to support the new government if it intends to increase the minimum salary around 800 or 850 RON.
Some other enumerated points from 15 by the president LSU aimed at: transparence and control in the reserve Fund of the Prime Minister, investigations and control regarding “the smart boys from the Energy”, the adoption of an attitude regarding the project Roşia Montana, with a correct evaluation on threee zones: respect for the environment, the protection of the national interest and fighting against political corruption.
Victor Ponta also said that the opposition is going to sustain the new party cabinet regarding the VAT reduction to the agricultural products, Bio agriculture, the adoption of a more courageous solution concerning the solidarity tax on the big fortunes- not 1% but 10%, low health insurance fund for the employer with the purpose of creating new jobs.
