RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Ukrainian forces retaliate against Russian attacks launched in the early hours of the morning.
Ukraine's charge d'affaires in Romania, Paun Rohovei, declared at a meeting with the presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies in Bucharest that Russia's attack is massive and focuses on Ukraine's strategic infrastructure objectives, starting with airports, fuel depots and military command centers.
The foreign official gave assurances that the Ukrainian army was prepared for such a scenario and retaliates.
Paun Rohovei: "The Ukrainian army has retaliated and continues to retaliate. According to data, at 13:00, six Russian fighter jets, a large number of helicopters and a large number of tanks and armored vehicles were shot down. Russian soldiers were also taken prisoner. The attacks are massive. It's very hard to hold them. We have called on all our international partners to make every effort to fight on the two fronts, the politico-diplomatic front and the battle front."
