Ukraine is grateful to Romania for the assistance given in the war

Ukraine is grateful to Romania for the significant assistance provided since the first day of the war, including the fact that tens of thousands of Ukrainians found their temporary refuge here - said the ambassador of Ukraine in Bucharest, Igor Prokopciuk.
At a ceremony organized on the occasion of the National Day of Ukraine, the diplomat called for increased military assistance for his country, but also for the introduction of new sanctions against Russia.
The ambassador also said that Ukrainians are fighting not only for their country, but also for the future of the whole of Europe and reaffirmed Kiev's commitment to achieving the necessary reforms for European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
