Romania's national football team defeated Malta 4-0 (3-0) on Monday night at the Ta'Qali National Stadium in Group F of the EURO 2020 qualifying.
Romania won its first ever match against Malta thanks to goals scored by George Puscas (7, 29), Alexandru Chipciu (34) and Dennis Man (90 + 1).
Romania will play the next match of this qualifying campaign on September 5 with Spain on the National Arena in Bucharest.
In the same group, Spain defeated Sweden 3-0 in Madrid, Santiago Bernabeu, and Norway beat the Faroe Islands 2-0.
