One of the most important exhibitions ever organized in Romania has officially opened on Tuesday evening and is available to the public starting from Wednesday, March 21, at the Romanian National Library in Bucharest.
"Treasures of Ancient Egypt" exhibition brings to Romania the famous mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun and authentic mummies, fragments of a sarcophagus, papyrus sheets and jewelry.
Collection was prepared by a team of 50 specialists in the field - Egyptologists, anthropologists, historians and architects.
The exhibits, which come from well-known museums and private collections, have extremely high value and that is why, organizers say, special security measures have been taken for the Bucharest event.
