"Tulip Symphony" in Pitesti

These days, Pitesti city, called the „Tulip City” is in celebration. For three days, the city becomes the capital of flowers.

At Pitesti is conducted the "Tulip Symphony", the most important cultural and artistic event , which began yesterday in the city at the confluence of Arges with the River Lady.

This is the largest planting exhibitions in Romania and is conducted without interruption for 36 years.

It debuted in 1977 and since then, thousands of visitors continue to enjoy each spring.

The planting and flower exhibition of the Symphony will be hosted by House Books flag and in the center of Pitesti will be traders’ stands with flowers, seeds, machinery, fruit, and other food or handicrafts.

In the three days, there are held here symposia for professionals, contests, sports competitions, musical, sound and light outdoors.
Tulip Symphony ends on Sunday evening.
