Transalpina is now open.

On the national road 67 C, between the villages Ranca and Obarsia Lotrului, there are, however, some restrictions. Traffic is allowed only between 8:00-20:00, cars that weigh over 7.5 tons can not go on this road, and the maximum speed allowed is 30 kilometers per hour.

Transalpina is the highest road in the country - in Urdele Pass, it reaches 2,145 meters.

Unfortunately, DN 7 C - Transfagarasan remains closed on the altitude section from Balea Lac until the end of June.
