President Traian Băsescu returns from Cotroceni
President Traian Basescu returns to Cotroceni Palace, after the Constitutional Court ruled that the referendum on his dismissal did not have the necessary quorum.
According to the President of CC, Augustin Zegrean explained that judges of the Court found that the referendum was carried out correctly, and has complied with the law but has not met the condition for a quorum on the participation of the Romanians to vote, namely half plus one of the number of voters enrolled on the electoral roll.
Judges are to meet Wednesday at 10: 00 pm for reading of the judgment in front of the Court.
Prior to its publication in the Official Gazette the decision is presented to the Chamber of Deputies and Senate met in joint session.
