Titus Corlăţean elected as PACE Vice-President
SDP Senator Titus Corlăţean has been elected Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for the year 2018.

Social-Democrat Senator Titus Corlăţean, President of the Romanian Parliamentary Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), has been elected, on January 22, in Strasbourg, as one of the Vice-Presidents of the Assembly for 2018. Corlăţean holds this mandate for the second consecutive year.
Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) elected its Vice-Presidents at the opening of its Winter plenary session.
Titus Corlăţean has also been appointed as Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly for the urgent debate on "The Middle East peace process - Israel - Palestine: contribution of the Council of Europe". In this debate scheduled for Thursday, Titus Corlăţean will present a report and submit the plenary a draft resolution on the matter.
