Tips for sun exposure

At the peak of the summer season, dermatologists warn not to sit in the sun without products with a protective factor, and emphasize that these products should be used not only during summertime.

A recent study shows that eight out of ten Romanians use sunscreen only when sunlight is strong and, although they say they know how important it is to use it, few people understand its correct meaning.

Even if people stay outside for three and a half hours a day, only a little over a third use such creams every time they leave the house, and most, 63%, use them only when they go to the beach.

The findings of "Reveal Marketing Research" show that daily use of sunscreen is in its infancy and can be attributed to low consumer awareness, so neither frequency of use nor quality is sufficient for proper sunlight protection.
