"Timeless Folk ", the Seventh Edition

The seventh edition of the event "Timeless Folk", organized by Radio Romania with Bucharest School Inspectorate, starts on March the 28th 2013, at 14 o’clock, in the Festival Hall of the National College "Gheorghe Şincai", which proved to be not only a hospitable host also during the other six previous editions, but also a true "reservoir" of talent.

This "Folk timeless” first event of the twenty-seventh edition aims to bring in the competition students from the host school and the other five high schools from the 4 sector: the National College" Mihai Eminescu, Technological High School "Mircea Vulcanescu", School of Metrology" Traian Vuia", National College" Octav Onicescu", National College "Ion Creanga".

A number of 39 students faced the preselection, who will participate at the creation and interpretation, individually, but also in folk groups.

Special guests of the event are the well-known singer-songwriter Ducu Bertzi, Mihai Nenita, Eugen Cristea, Ovidiu Mihailescu, who are both members of the jury and show participants for folk music and poetry.

Maria Gheorghiu, a popular songwriter, presents the event.

Radio Romania News, Bucharest FM and Radio 3net "Florian Pittiş" will broadcast reports, interviews and recordings of the event organized by the Editorship Theatre.
