RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The decision regarding the price reduction of basic foods will be taken during this week, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said yesterday. The form in which the measures will be applied that will lead to the reductions promised by the Government must be established, he explained.

Marcel Ciolacu: "Thursday we will see if the agreement remains or if an ordinance enters. Tomorrow (Tuesday) morning it will be decided with those from retail, from the system. The ordinance insists on a balance throughout the system. Here we are also talking about products produced in Romania, but also about imported products. This mixed effort on the part of the state and the private sector is needed to bring, however, the inflation to the end of the year with a single digit, and a stability, and an increase in the standard of living, because we are only talking about the products most desired by all of us and necessary."
