Three presidents of polling stations from Mehedinţi were sent Monday in trial by prosecutors from the High Court of Cassation and Justice for fraud in the referendum held on 29 July on the dismissal of the President of Romania.
In the same case has been prosecuted also a representative of another polling station.
According to a press release from the General Prosecutor, Dumitru Mirea, Livu Bondoc, Gheorghita Burcu and Carmen Manuela Micu are accused of committing the offense provided for in art. Article 55. 1 of Law no. 3/2000 on the organization and conduct of the referendum.
Prosecutors allege that the polling station no. 170 Gârla Mare from Mehedinţi County, Dumitru Mirea, as chairman of the department, on July 29 and earlier has falsely prepared several documents of the electoral bureau, namely, the report on the results of the referendum and the supplementary voting list for the mobile ballot box, by registering on this list the same persons more than once or persons who have made application to that effect, followed by the introduction of the urn of a number of ballots equal to that of persons included in false in this list.
In this way, compared to the 1,391 people who came to vote were fraudulent introduced into the urn 127 ballots.
375 votes "in addition" to a section
Liviu Bondoc is accused, as chairman of the electoral committee of the polling station no. 63 Drobeta that he falsely prepared several documents of the electoral, namely, the report on the results of the referendum and supplementary voter list, pages 2-21 and 25-29, followed by the introduction of a number of ballots (375 newsletters) equal to that of persons included in the list false.
Thus, compared to the 1,714 people who came to vote was fraudulently placed in the urn 375 ballots.
At the polling station no. 70 Orşova, whose president was Gheorghita Burcu, were a total of 49 forged signatures on voter lists (additional and permanent), which was followed by the introduction of the urn of an equal number of ballots.
Prosecutors argue that this activity was done in the following ways: by doubling the data to identify persons listed on page 3 of the supplement meaning that the same people, but in reverse order, are listed on page 11 of the same list, as well as registration and signing the supplementary list of fictitious persons, meaning that their identification data does not exist or belong to other people.
Thus, compared with 1324 the number of people who actually voted was fraudulently placed in the urn 49 ballots.
Invalid PIN Links
From the given evidence administrated in cause, revealed that the additional voter list of the polling station no. 70 Orşova identified a number of 34 invalid PIN and the series and the numbers of the identity cards mentioned in their right belong to other persons than those included in the list, so that they were prepared false.
Thus, in the reports dated on March 12, 26 and 27 September shows that positions 11-15 on page 9 of the supplementary voter list at polling station 70 Orşova, and pages 10, items 1 to 15 and 12 , positions 2-15 contain false statements, within the meaning of the above, in respect of persons voting, in the number of 34 and that have been signed false.
As concerns Manuela Micu, prosecutors shows that as a member of the polling station 70 Orşova, she has drawn in false more electoral documents, namely, the report on the results of the referendum and several pages of additional election voter list, by entering fictitious persons with invalid PIN Links and the series and numbers from the identity cards mentioned in their right belonging to another person, followed by the introduction of an appropriate number of ballots, thus validating the presence of the persons referred in false.
From the technical-scientific report prepared in case results that the writing which fills the fields "PIN", "Name and surname of voter", "domicile / resident of elector (street, no. House, building, apartment)", " ID serial and number "on page 9, positions 11-15, pages 10 and 12 positions no. 1-15 of the supplementary voter list was executed by Manuela Micu.
The file will be tried by court Drobeta.
