The foreign investments in Romania, down
If in 2008, foreigners invested in Romania about 9 billion Euros, in 2011 they have brought in our country only 376 million Euros.

National Bank of Romania( BNR) said that foreign direct investment (FDI) in January totaled only 23million, down sharply compared to the same month in 2011, when there was a flow of 376 million Euros.
According to data published by the National Bank (BNR), equity estimated consolidated net loss totaled 130 million Euros, while intra-group loans registered a negative 107 million Euros net.
Under these circumstances, foreign direct investments in Romania are part and this year on a downward trend, while in 2011 there was a minimum of the last nine years, with a volume of 1.9 billion Euros.
The highest level of FDI was registered in 2008 - 9,496,000,000 Euros.
Between 2003 and 2006 Romania experienced increases in foreign investment every year, it reached 5,183 billion Euros in 2004 to 5,213 billion Euros in 2005 and 9,056 billion Euros in 2006.
In 2007 there was a reduction in foreign capital invested in Romania, to 7,25 billion Euros, followed by an increase in the 2008 record.
Starting next year, the indicator has deteriorated sharply reducing investments to 3.48 billion Euros in 2009 and 2.2 billion Euros in 2010.
Considering that these investments can turn into some degree jobs, then our country recently lost opportunity to reduce unemployment.
