RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The Victoria Palace in the Capital will be illuminated this evening in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, as a sign of solidarity with the neighboring country, one year after the beginning of the Russian military aggression. Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca shows, in a message, that Romania remains attached to the values of the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance and will continue to support the goal of peace and freedom of Ukraine, which has become the outpost of the fight for the defense of the democratic world. The Acting President of the Senate, Alina Gorghiu, believes, for her part, that the reconstruction process for Ukraine will be difficult, but says that Ukrainians deserve to live in peace and decide their own destiny. The USR leader, Catalin Drula, states, in a message, that it is our duty to support Ukraine and to ensure that dictators do not have a place on our continent. He mentions that Ukrainians are fighting heroically for their country, but at the same time for the future of Europe.
