"The USA will react to a possible Russian threat against Moldova"

Antony Blinken assured that the United States will react in the case of a Russian threat against the Republic of Moldova.

"We strongly support Moldova's territorial integrity, sovereignty and constitutional neutrality. You have seen the response through which we have mobilized the world against Russia's aggression in Ukraine. Whenever and wherever such aggression occurs, we will do the same", declared in Chisinau, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

President Maia Sandu has admitted that the illegal presence of Russian troops in Transnistria represents a vulnerability to the country's security, but said there is no information about the intention of these troops to be involved in military actions in Ukraine.
