The Chamber of Deputies ended negotiations for the distribution of new Permanent Office and the composition of the parliamentary commissions in accordance with the algorithm resulting from the elections of December 9, according to Radio Romania Actualitati editor, Victor Gheorghe.
Rules of the Chamber of Deputies will not be changed, and the number of permanent standing committees and municipalities will remain the same, according to the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Valeriu Zgonea.
"We have an initial discussion and an initial coverage of all projects, i.e. the Division on the Committee. The share of each parliamentary group in the commission, the number of functions, the president, secretary, vice president, will be divided and which are committees.
"What I can tell you at this point, due to the situation, so extraordinary, we will not change the rules of the Chamber of deputies in this session, we will remain and the Senate and Chamber of Deputies on the same number of permanent committees and on the same number of permanent commissions, the 15, that you know " said Valeriu Zgonea, President of the Chamber of Deputies.
Following negotiations, the Chamber of Deputies, the opposition will get 3 of 11 functions from the Permanent Bureau: a vice president, a secretary and a questor. Other functions will return the USL.
The senators will be sworn in Wednesday
Newly elected senators have scheduled the formalities for taking office in the election on December 9.
Under the procedure, each senator is supporting the certificate of his election, makes personal resume, statement of assets and interests, as well as an affidavit regarding membership or non-membership as an employee or collaborator of the former security.
On Wednesday, senators validated by a special Commission formed to take the oath, then be elected, by secret ballot, the President of the Senate and the Permanent Bureau.
