The subscribed capital of foreign companies, increasing

RADOR RADIO ROMANIA (October 22) - The number of companies with foreign capital newly established in Romania decreased by 4% in the first eight months of the year, compared to the similar period in 2022.

According to the data centralized by the National Office of the Trade Register, 4.637 such companies were established, their subscribed capital, in the total amount of over 100 million dollars, however, increased almost four times.

At the end of August, there were almost 250.000 companies with foreign participation in Romania, and the value of the subscribed capital was almost 70 billion dollars.

Most of these firms had investors from Italy, but the highest value of share capital belongs to Dutch firms.
