Valencia lost against Atletico Madrid and the Basques have imposed in front of the Portuguese from Sporting Lisbon.
Spanish football is not denying, and the final European League brings to Bucharest two of the best teams in the Iberian Championship.
Atletico managed to beat Valencia to its home, with a goal scored by Adrian.
An intense game, with two teams motivated in the first half, but Valencia dropped the speed in the second half and faded after Adrian's goal, from Diego's centring.
Atletico is preparing, therefore, to go to Bucharest.
At San Mames stadium, Athletic Bilbao qualified after winning with 3-1 in front of the Portuguese from Sporting Lisbon (2-1 in the round).
Llorente was the one who brought victory for the Basque.
They qualify in a European final after 35 years, and Atletico tried to reprint the title won in 2010 in Hamburg.
Athletic Bilbao had a very good season, reaching the final in the King Cup (Copa del Rey), where it will encounter FC Barcelona.
The two Spanish teams have the same colours, red and white and a common history: Atletico Madrid is the younger brother of the club from Bilbao, because it was founded in 1903 by a group of students in the Basque Country, as a branch of the club Bilbao (1898).
Initially, the two teams could not face each other, but history changed!
