The sovereignist bloc parties are preparing a no-confidence motion against the Ciolacu cabinet.
The initiative has not yet been taken up by USR - a political party also in opposition.
The Alliance for the Unity of Romanians will start next week to collect signatures for a motion of censure against the executive, which the leader of the political party, George Simion, wants to finalize with a vote in Parliament this month.
He says other MPs from other parties could also support the initiative.
George Simion: I hope that any parliamentarian of good faith understands that this Government is illegitimate, that this Government does not respect the government program and that it is a mockery to the pensioners of Romania who were lied to against a vote for PSD. I hope this is justice.
Save Romania Union has responsible politicians, says Elena Lasconi, leader of the political party.
As such, her advice is that USR MPs should not vote in a possible no-confidence motion, so as not to create political instability.
Elena Lasconi: Anyway, I haven't even seen the text of this motion of no confidence and I appeal once again to PSD and PNL, because it is necessary and in such a moment, when it seems that the coalition is a bit fragile, to think once again about USR, because they didn't want us in government.
USR does not exclude entering the government in the formula of pro-European forces, but not under any conditions, Elena Lasconi added.
