The "Seaside for all" program continues until June 18, when the summer season begins. Dozens of accommodation units have rates up to 70% lower during this period, and from next week an even greater number of tourists is announced. Operators in the field predict a very good season, after over 70 thousand people arrived at the seaside resorts during the Pentecost mini-holiday.
Reporter - Sorin Cealera: Summer is coming into its own more and more, the weather continues to warm up, and daily maximums begin to exceed 25 degrees Celsius. The sea becomes really good for bathing, because the water temperature increases and will be 22-23 degrees. Mamaia was on the first place in the top of preferences at the beginning of June, the degree of occupancy in most accommodation units being between 70 and 95%. However, the entire coast becomes much more attractive in the resorts in the south, also rising in preferences in terms of number of reservations. There are prices for accommodation for all budgets, starting, on average, from 100 lei per night for a double room in a three-star hotel in the resorts of the southern coast and from 200-225 lei per night, also in a three-star hotel, in Mamaia, where tourists will pay from 400 lei per night for a four-star hotel. The best prices, up to 70% lower than those at the peak of the season, are at the accommodation units registered in the "Seaside for all" program, which continues until June 18. More than 30 hotels in all resorts offer tourists, cumulatively, approximately 5.500 places per night, and tourist packages can be paid for with holiday vouchers.
