The ruling coalition will announce the changes to the tax system

The ruling coalition parties are set to meet today in order to determine what changes will be made to the tax system.
While the Social Democrats are proposing, among other things, the introduction of a progressive tax, a solidarity tax on multinationals, but also deductions for low wages, the Liberals have given assurances that they will not give up the single quota and will not support any surcharge formula.
Yesterday, PSD leader Marcel Ciolacu insisted, in a post on Facebook, that one cannot continue with an outdated and unfair fiscal system that produces economic imbalances and social inequity.
The PNL president, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca, stated the opposite, pointing out that economic stability and job protection will be ensured by maintaining the single tax rate.
