The governing coalition is considering measures to reduce VAT and employees' social insurance contributions for the next period.
Social Democratic Party President Marcel Ciolacu also insists on regulating the energy market for household consumers and small businesses.
The Social Democrat leader claims that financial resources to extend the compensation of energy bills by another month exist.
Marcel Ciolacu: I still consider that we will have to come up with a price for this year, including next winter, with everything that comes from here, more precisely an emergency ordinance, then transposed by the National Energy Regulatory Authority, NERA now having no regulation of prices, neither for gas nor for energy, following an emergency ordinance issued by Mr. Orban.
Producer: Recently, the president of the National Liberal Party, Florin Citu, also declared that the reduction of SIC from 25 to 20% would represent a solution to increase the salary for all citizens and would moderate inflation.
