The Romanian Government supports the immediate release of all hostages held captive in the Gaza Strip

The Government of Romania condemns, once again, the attacks by Hamas against the State of Israel on October 7 last year and calls once again for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages held captive in the Gaza Strip.
Romania supports the international community's efforts to conclude a ceasefire agreement that will lead both to the release of the hostages and to a continuous, safe and unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
A press release reaffirms that Romania will not cease to support efforts to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East.
