The Romanian alpinist Alex Gavan has climbed the 8027 metres high Sishapangma Peak, in Himalaya.
In the first achievement of this kind for Romania, the climber Alex Gavan has surmounted the 8027 metres high Sishapangma Peak, in Himalaya mountains.
His performance is remarcable as he has not used oxygen reserves and has climbed the mountain without the help of Shepa people, something that very few alpinists can achieve.
The escalade, in the Easter days, is added to his previous record, of five peaks higher than 8,000 metres.
