The Romanian academic environment can receive up to 10.000 Ukrainian students. President Klaus Iohannis reminded that both refugee students and refugee university students from Ukraine have the opportunity to enroll in the Romanian education system.
Klaus Iohannis: Ukrainian students who come to us have the opportunity to enroll in the Romanian education system. The field of education as a whole has an important contribution to the national refugee hosting effort, and the academic environment is ready to receive over 10.000 students from Ukraine. I am convinced that Ukrainian students will quickly integrate into the Romanian academic communities. They will thus have the opportunity to continue and complete their university education in order to benefit their people.
President Klaus Iohannis made these remarks on the occasion of the inauguration of the construction works for the Francophonie House. The institution, which will be the second largest of its kind in the world, will operate on the campus of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and will bring together researchers, people of culture and students from French-speaking countries.
